MISSION:
The mission of the CCWS Alumni USA Association shall be to serve and promote education to students attending church
schools, and the surrounding areas of Samoa. It is also to enrich the lives of its alumni as they unite in making a difference in the lives of the young people of Samoa, themselves, and the young people in their local communities here in the United States.
At the core of the alumni, is the belief in the value of education, a belief in the significance of our contribution to society, and a commitment to integrity and service.
This mission is accomplished through project-oriented efforts coordinated by an elected committee and by the current and future members of this CCWS Alumni Association.
GOALS:
The CCWS Alumni USA Association endeavors to accomplish the following goals:
- To increase the role of alumni in accomplishing the mission established by the Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter-Day Saints, for the church schools in Samoa and its students and also its alumni residing here in the United States.
- To build, foster, and encourage friendships and cooperation among current and former staff, students, and alumni of church schools in Samoa and those living in communities here in the United States.
- Facilitate programs to assist current and former students of church schools in Samoa and alumni here in the United States, as they pursue their educational and professional endeavors.
- Identify, recruit and utilize former students, staff, administrators, and recent graduates of church schools, in programs that will promote education, the Samoan culture, and the continuing of individual development for the betterment of society wherever they may reside.
